Indahnya Berbagi
Mungkin kata guru sudah tidak asing lagi. Tidak semua orang memiliki cita-cita untuk menjadi seorang guru termasuk aku, hehehe... Dulu aku sangat ingin menjadi pramugari. Tapi tidak mendapat ijin sedikitpun dari orang tuaku. Sedih dan kecewa kalau lihat pramugari nyata-nyata di depan aku. Tapi yah mau bagaimana lagi, tidak semua keinginan kita bisa tercapai. Mungkin tuhan memang punya rencana lain untukku.
sekarang aku kuliah jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Informatika Undiksha di Singaraja. Dilihat dari nama jurusannya yaitu jurusan Pendidikan, sudah pasti kita belajar tentang profesi keguruan yaitu bagaimana kita menjadi guru yang baik dan cara mengajar yang benar. Menjadi seorang guru itu memang bukan cita-citaku, tapi demi mendapatkan gelar S1 aku berusaha menjalaninya dengan sebaik mungkin. Hari demi hari aku jalani. Selama perkuliahan aku mendapat banyak pelajaran bagaimana menjadi seorang guru. Ternyata menjadi seorang guru itu tidaklah mudah seperti yang dibayangkan. Tinggal mengajar dan jika siswanya libur guru pun ikut libur. Karena dibalik itu semua banyak sekali yang harus dikuasai sebelum benar-benar mengajar.
Setelah sedikit demi sedikit aku pelajari tentang profesi keguruan, mulailah saatnya menerapkan ilmu yang sudah kudapatkan. Diawali dengan mengajar teman sebaya di kampus kemudian akhirnya harus terjun langsung ke sekolah-sekolah. Berhadapan langsung dengan siswa itu bukan hal yang mudah apalagi baru pertama kali. Perasaan canggung, grogi dan malu terus mengikuti. Benar-benar tidak bisa dibayangkan bagaimana susahnya berdiri di depan kelas dan dipandang oleh lebih dari 30 pasang mata. Dan bukan hanya berdiri saja, kita harus berbicara dan memberikan materi kepada mereka. Jadi bukan hanya penampilan saja yang kita harus persiapkan, materi juga benar-benart harus kita kuasai. :)
Semakin lama dan seringnya menghadapi siswa, lama-lama rasa grogi itu berubah menjadi biasa. Dan dengan mengajar aku mendapatkan begitu banyak pengalaman. Pertama mendapat banyak teman. Saat praktek menjadi seorang guru, sudah pasti aku harus mengenal mereka. Dan dengan begitu aku jadi mendapat banyak teman baru. Kemanapun aku pergi, ada saja yang menyapa dan itu adalah mereka.
Pengalaman kedua adalah, bisa merasakan susahnya menjadi guru saat memberikan materi di depan kelas. Apalagi disaat banyak siswa yang ribut atau asik ngobrol dengan teman lainya. Rasa kesal dan ingin marah rasanya. Tapi aku berusaha menahan emosi dan mencari jalan lain untuk membuat mereka lebih serius mengikuti pelajaran. Jadi ingat dulu waktu aku berada di posisi mereka. Malas mendengarkan guru dan lebih senang bercanda saat jam pelajaran berlangsung. Ternyata sakit hati juga kalau kita susah payah mengajar tapi mereka tidak peduli. :p
Pengalaman yang terakhir adalah indahnya berbagi. Berbagi apapun yang bisa dijadikan pelajaran dan ilmu yang berharga untuk mereka. Contoh kecilnya saja mengajarkan sebuah materi. Membuat mereka mengerti akan suatu materi benar-benar suatu kepuasan yang tak ternilai. Walau sulit karena kemampuan siswa yang berbeda-beda, dan cara mengajarinya harus berbeda pula tapi itu semua terbayarkan saat apa yang ku ajarkan dapat dimengerti. Apalagi disaat memeriksa ulangan mereka, yang dimana jawaban mereka benar-benar kata-kata yang pernah aku ucapkan saat mengajar. Tersenyum kecil dan bangga pada diri sendiri. Membuat mereka yang awalnya tidak mengerti menjadi mengerti. Aku merasa apa yang ku pelajari di bangku sekolah dan bangku kuliah tidak sia-sia. Indahnya berbagi.
